My Service Learning Journal

What I've learned through this service experience?

While working with Distributed Proofreaders I learned a lot and ac tally enjoyed my time volunteering. Not to say I have never enjoyed volunteering it was just nice to pick and organization that allowed me to contribute to something I am personally interested and invested in. Doing this made the social change model easier for me to achieve because there have been sections I have struggled with in the past because the serviced I was doing was not something I could fully invest myself into. The leadership insights I had while working with this organization include: meeting your goals is not the only definition of success, compromise, patience, you don’t have to be the nicest team member but you also don’t have to be disrespectful, and success required and clear target.
