My Service Learning Journal

Overview:

for my service organization I created a flyer that is going on my social media to call out to my fellow readers to help with Distributed proofreaders.

Reflection:

I created this message through the ideas of how readers are always wanting to help push knowledge to one another. Each section is split up for easy reading and understanding. The problem is clearly stated at the top and you continue to read in a clock work patter. After you read the problem of books not being accessible we then move to the goal of the organization. They are trying to preserve history on a media platform and get as many books as they possibly can online for easy access. After this we move to solution, this is stated as giving the world easy access to knowledge without the finical struggles that many people face in todays day and age. Lastly, we get to the call to action. The call to action is how we are volunteering I thought it would have been good to state how reading is my escape and I want to be help to help and supply this to other readers around the world. I’m believe this will pull at the heartstrings of others and get them thinking about why they read and make them want to volunteer as well.

My Insight

Insight #2: Readers work together to push knowledge to the greater public.
