My Career Ready Portfolio

  1. Brown Aesthetic Moodboard Photo Collage Vision Board Poster

My vision board is a mixture of what I hope to accomplish this year and how some of the things I aspire to do this year will relate to what I want to continue to do when I’m on the earth. I made different categories on my vision board because I know that I have to grow in multiple categories and things somehow manage to intertwine with each other. I would like to start with the top left corner and work my way around clockwise. In the left corner, I show pictures relating to health because I want to start being healthier so that I can live a long life and be able to spend as much time with the people I love and am going to love as much as I can. This plan includes planning our healthier meals and going to the gym. My end goal is to lose weight but still have muscle so that I’ll have the physic that I want. Also, I want to push myself by taking different fitness classes that will push me out of my comfort zone. Also, the picture of the girl doing physical therapy is a new goal that came out of nowhere when I found out I completely tore my ACL and my meniscus. They said so that I can fully recover and potentially be able to play lacrosse again, I have to do intense physical therapy and at-home exercises so that I can hopefully play at the same level I played before. Moving to the top right corner, Ive always wanted to travel the world and see new places, I’ve been lucky enough to do it with my parents and see incredible sights and make amazing memories but I want to travel on my own and be able to explore everything. I started small and flew alone the first time to North Carolina to visit my best friend and even though it wasn’t across the world I felt incredible being able to travel and explore on my own for the first time. I want to go everywhere but I put on my vision board two places I’ve always wanted to go. The bottom right corner shows the career aspect of my goals. My short-term goal is to be able to get a few internships, make it into the professional selling program, and graduate with a couple of job offers and an acceptance to the University of Texas at Austin. My long-term goal is to work in sales at a company that does something good for society in some way or another and be able to have enough resources and knowledge to give back to the world. I want to work hard enough so that one day I can be a CEO and I want to create a non-profit business that is more successful than anything anyone has seen. I started in the non-profit secotr by volunteering with my mom and it showed me how important it is to give back. To the middle/left bottom corner, I have a few things that apply to growth which I feel is a vision that will always be there in different ways. I want to grow mentally and emotionally and feel more confident in my decisions and myself. Also, I want to grow in my discipline and time management skills by getting better at organizing my commitments, finances, school work, my job, extracurriculars, and whatever else I have to do. Additionally, I want to spend my time reading fun or educational novels instead of staring at TikTok for hours. Lastly, I am Catholic and grew up catholic my whole life my relationship with God has been a roller coaster my whole life so I want to develop a better relationship with him because, for me, God has helped me get through really tough times so I want to grow closer again to him because I feel it makes my life better. One of the ways I’m going to do that is to start doing a prayer journal and have more intension and gratefulness when I say my prayers. This vision board is just a summary because I know there are more things I have to work on but for now, I think this is a great start. I feel like my leadership styler inspired all of this by using transformational and servent leadership since all of these goals have to do with the betterment and helping of myself or others.
