Throughout this semester, I have met so many people and have created so many connections. Everyone at Make-A-Wish is super nice and welcoming. I even met people from other companies such as Morgan and Morgan and Disney. This is because most of my volunteering involved the event Walk for Wishes. Many companies donate their time and money to this event to raise money for wishes.

The connection I made with Morgan and Morgan was espicially beneficial because I want to be a lawyer. The contact I made had me take her phone number and said I could contact her at any time. She said many students work at the desks and on the phones and then after they get their law degree, go on to work there as a lawyer. This was such a good encounter for me. Another great connection I made was with my supervisor. I plan to maintain this relationship with her and probably ask her for a recommendation down the road. Being kind to people that I come across has been so helpful, because you never know when someone could help you or further your career.
