My mom is a teacher, and I was raised to always care about kids and be an advocate for them. I can be an advocate for kids with terminal illnesses by volunteering for MAW.

  1. How does volunteering with this nonprofit feed a passion of yours?

I have such a passion for childeren and working with people for a greater cause. Spending many hours volunteering my time for this organzation will help benefit the kids that need it the most.

  1. What might be the greatest barrier you would face in serving with this organization? How will you overcome this barrier?

My greatest barrier may be not thinking I am good enough to fulfill the position as an intern. It is my first internship and I am a little nervous and hope it goes well. I will overcome this barrier by cultivating confidence, and showing up every day and doing my best.
