The main theme resonating profoundly in Banksy’s graffiti artwork is the urgent need to protect our environment. Banksy expresses this important message through his graffiti masterpieces. At an early age, Banksy found inspiration from his local street artists, especially the artwork of Blek Le Rat, a famous French graffiti and street artist who made the biggest inspiration in Banksy’s career.

Environmental graffiti has become one of the most popular forms of art in modern society; serving not only for entertainment purposes but also a form of communication. Banksy is well known for being one of the first artists to address political and environmental problems with graffiti. Banksy’s art has become a powerful voice to raise awareness about controversial topics such as pollution and deforestation. Our environment is threatened by global warming caused by pollution; Banksy’s art reveals a massage to the world about the importance of environmental protection by reducing deforestation and other forms of harmful environmental pollution. Banksy encourages the audience to think about the impact of human activities on the environment and calls for collective action to protect the planet.
