Hi! My name is Ria Gupta and I am a sophomore currently majoring in Biomedical Sciences here at the University of Central Florida. I am a Burnett Medical Scholar, a Burnett Honors Student, as well as a LEAD Scholar. On campus, I am involved as Director of Academic Affairs for Honors Congress, Team Leader for Honors Symposium, and Captain for my Knightmare Bhangra Dance Team. I am also involved in research as an undergraduate research assistant in a Biomedical Sciences lab and plan on pursuing my Honors Undergraduate Thesis in the Fall. Off campus, I am involved as a volunteer at the Orlando Regional Medical Center and as a volunteer with Hearts for the Homeless, where we provide medical services and relief to the local downtown homeless population in Orlando. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing/watching sports, crocheting, listening to music, spending time with my friends/family, and getting to know new people. Thank you!
