This is my vision board and the pictures I choose are the ones that specifically relate to me. I chose the nurses and stethoscope because I want to be a nurse and always been interested in saving lives and doing my best. I put the PS5 because one of my favorite things to do is play video games in my free time. And I also included a quote from famous Ravens football player Ray Lewis because it one that I use as much as possible to continue moving forward always. And also New York City because I am originally from New York and also plan to go back there and continue to be a nurse in the city where I am from and where most of my family continues to live. I also put the group of nurses to show my leadership style which is service leadership. As a nurse I find no better way to lead other than leading by example. I always think to myself there are things I know I can’t do and education will only take me so far. It is important to have someone lead you by example and in person. I feel like being a volunteer for homecoming is the only service experience that I have been able to relate to my career interest up until this point where I now work with the hospitals. This was because I was helping people during that time I remember spirit splash a lot of injuries occur and I went to the medical tent to help them out and I truly felt close to my career choice.
