Hello, my name is Joheily Franco, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida. I’m currently involved in the university as a member of the Burnett Honors College, Knights of Distinction, and LEAD Scholars Academy programs. I also work as a consultant for the university writing center, as a mentor for the WiSTEM program, and as a research assistant for two projects. In the future, I am interested in working in the medical field as a physician and am looking for opportunities that will build my experience and knowledge in this area.
